95% Assessment Standard
The standard minimum pass mark for applicable iCareHub Academy knowledge assessments is 95%. Some safety-critical courses may also contain critical questions that must be answered correctly regardless of the overall assessment score.
The 95% standard applies to knowledge assessments only. Practical competency is achieved only when all required competency criteria have been satisfactorily demonstrated.
From Knowledge to Competence
Some care activities require more than theoretical knowledge. Where applicable, iCareHub Academy combines structured theory with practical training and competency assessment.
For delegated or person-specific clinical interventions, an iCareHub training or competency certificate does not replace any additional employer, responsible clinician or person-specific delegation/authorisation required for practice.
Training for Organisations
The Academy is being designed to support care providers with workforce learning and compliance. Organisation features are being developed to give providers the tools they need to manage training at scale.
Complete Care Certificate Knowledge Programme
The Care Certificate contains 16 standards covering the knowledge and skills required for care workers in health and social care settings.
Online knowledge learning alone does not constitute completion of the full Care Certificate. Full workplace completion requires the appropriate workplace assessment and demonstration of competence in practice.

An iCareHub Academy Programme
Our Learning Disability & Autism learning pathway is an iCareHub Academy programme informed by recognised good-practice standards in the field. It is designed to develop knowledge, understanding and person-centred practice.
This is an iCareHub Academy programme. It is not Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training and is not an approved OMMT programme.
Complex Clinical Care
Specialist learning for care workers and support staff involved in complex clinical and TDDI-related care activities. Online theory does not by itself establish clinical competence — practical training and competency assessment are required where applicable.
